Paris day 4/amsterdam day 1
Breakfast & Travel
We leave Paris today and arrive in Amsterdam. Since we had a 6:30 am departure we had to subject ourselves to the hotel breakfast. It was a short trip to the train station and then we were off on the 3.5-hour trip to Amsterdam.
Exploring
Upon arriving in Amsterdam, we grabbed a quick bite to eat and explored the city. Later we went to the Ice Bar, a gimmicky bar that serves drinks in glasses made of ice in a bar that is -9 degrees Celsius.
Dinner and Red lights
We made reservations at a small local restaurant outside of the city center. We explored more of the city and dodged more bikes as we walked to dinner. After dinner, we were caught in a quick downpour that did nothing other than soak us through. It was gone in less than 15 minutes. Once it was dark we headed to the Red Light District to see the craziness.
