Seville Day 1
Leaving Lisbon
Today was mainly a travel day as we made our way from Lisbon to Seville. Along the way, we stopped in Olhão, Portugal. Olhão is a small fishing town with a large fish market, one of the biggest and most important in Portugal. We visited the fish market and the produce market before grabbing a quick lunch.
Seville
We arrived in Seville in the early evening. After a quick bit of rest and doing some laundry in the hotel shower we headed out on an orientation walk with the group. Next it was time for dinner at a small, but quite nice tapas restaurant. As it was close to sunset we decided to visit one of Seville’s rooftop bars for a nice drink during sunset. We had 10 or so people in our group so the bar could not seat us for 20 minutes which seemed like a great opportunity to enjoy some gelato. There was a pride parade earlier in the day and then a pride festival later in the day. As it was getting late, Matt decided to head back to the hotel for some rest and Laurie joined the rest of our group to catch the remainder of the pride event.
